Navigating the Gauge User Interface

The Gauges have a trackball for the user interface similar to those found on mobile phones.

Getting into the Reprogramming menu:
With the Key Off, hold down the trackball for 5 seconds. Follow the steps in the programming page.

Quick Navigation by moving the wheel only (not hitting the button):

Without pressing the button, roll the wheel to the left and you will start datalogging (if you have an SD card inserted). If you have no card inserted you will see a short warning displayed where you would normally see the dancing SD icon.

Skin Navigation:
Roll the thumb wheel up or down to go up or down in the skin selection.

Max Values and Clear Max Values:
Roll the thumb wheel to the right once to see the max values. Roll it again to clear the max values.

Getting into the main gauge menus:
You will easily be able to enter the main menus of the gauge by hitting the button on any of the skin screens.

You can roll the menu up and down to see different selections:

The menus are loosely as follows (they change depending on the type of gauge):

1) Fonts (control of font color and type)
2) Backgrounds (background pictures and colors)
3) Sounds (turn on or off sound)
4) Animation (dancing animation on/off)
5) Display Modes (turn speed on/off, temp on/off)
6) Dim Settings (set the Dimming of the vehicle at night)
7) DataLogging Clock (set the clock and calendar for datalogging)
8) Show Versions (show the firmware and graphics data revisions)
9) Sensor Config (choose the type of boost gauge)
10) Turn Off Unit (put unit to sleep)
11) Reset to Stock (reset to stock factory settings)
12) Warning Colors (set the hi/low warning colors)
13) Warnings Speed (turn on/off, warning level and sound alerts)
14) Warnings Pressure (turn on/off, warning level and sound alerts)
15) Warnings Temp (turn on/off, warning level and sound alerts)
